On a plane everyone is forced to endure the close proximity of strangers for a very long period of time and this can be tiresome for all involved. There is nothing worse than being stuck beside a bad passenger, so it is important for everyone to respect some simple rules.
Walk Down the Aisle - Don’t Bump Down It
Using the seats to pull yourself along the aisle is not necessary and it disturbs other passengers. Remember that you are not a bumper car.
Stow Your Luggage Quickly
It takes only a matter of seconds to drop your small bag and stow your larger one.
Maintain Personal Hygiene
Respect others by being clean. Picking your nose and scratching your dandruff is totally unacceptable, and so too is failing to shower before a flight.
Give the Middle Seat Both Armrests
The window and the aisle have more flexibility than the middle seat. The two armrests are the property of the traveller in the middle.
There is no need to turn the pages of a magazine with force, hum or talk loudly. Just be quiet so that people can sleep.
