Travel Pack Promotion Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotional period (“Promotional Period”) for this promotion commences 12.01am AEST 1 March 2019 and ends 11.59pm AEST 31 August 2019.
  2. Taking part in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. The promoter of the promotion is Fast Cover ABN 98 143 196 098 PO Box R1384 Royal Exchange NSW 1225 (”the Promoter”) authorised under NSW permit number: LTPS/19/32180.
  4. Entry is only open to residents of Australia over 18 years of age or older, as of the date of entry ("Eligible Persons"). 
  5. The directors, officers, management and employees of the Promoter, its related bodies and associated agencies and companies, contractors or associated individuals and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter this promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse or domestic partner, ex- spouse or ex-domestic partner, de-facto spouse or ex-defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.
  6. To enter the promotion, Eligible Persons must during the Promotional Period complete the survey. Additional entries can be obtained by completing a travel story.
  7. Entrants may only enter this promotion in their own name.
  8. The promotion will be comprised of 1 draw conducted on 3 September 2019.
  9. Only one Eligible Person per survey may enter into the draw, in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  10. The winner of each draw will be drawn by random electronic selection at Fast Cover, Level 31, 31 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 12.00pm AEST on 3 September 2019.
  11. The prize includes 1 x Samsonite Cosmolite 3 55cm Spinner RRP $579, 1 x Beats By Dr. Dre Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones RRP $449.95, 1 x Universal Power Cube RRP $16 and 1 x Zoom Lite Packing Cubes (4 pack) RRP $76.80. Prize not redeemable for cash.
  12. If a prize remains unclaimed by the winner 3 months after the Draw Date, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted by random electronic selection at Fast Cover, Level 31, 31 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000, at 12.00pm AEST 3 December 2019.
  13. All winners will be notified by email to the email address as notified to the Promoter within 7 days of the Draw Date. The winner will also be announced online at www.fastcover.com.au.
  14. Subject to clause 17 below, prizes will be posted by Fast Cover to the addresses notified in writing by the winners, within 28 days of such notice, following the draw.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to request that winners provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide proof suitable to the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or has breached these terms and conditions.
  17. If for any reason the winner does not take / redeem a prize (or an element of the prize) within the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
  19. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters, subject to applicable State and Territory legislation, and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  20. If this promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated or is interfered with in any way due to any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to, subject to the relevant Authorities which grant the Licence, to: (a) cancel, terminate modify or suspend the promotion, where the Promoter deems appropriate; or (b) disqualify any entrant.
  21. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this promotion. Any Entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  22. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
  23. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed. The winner will not be entitled to any fee for participating in these activities. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner (and their companions) agree to granting the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winner (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee or other gratuity for such use.
  24. The Promoter and their associated agencies will not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.
