Are bicycles covered under travel insurance?
Bicycles are not automatically covered under standard travel insurance policies. To have such cover in Fast Cover insurance policies, you might need to look at purchasing the Bicycle Pack as an optional add-on. This provides cover if your bicycle is permanently lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged during your trip, subject to the eligibility requirements and limits set out in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
