Do I need to register for eTravel if I go to the Philippines?
Yes, all foreign travellers including Australians need to register their travel to the Philippines online with eTravel, within 72 hours or 3 days of their scheduled arrival date. Keep in mind that this does not replace a visa. If you intend on staying in the Philippines beyond the 30 day visa-free period for Australians, you will need to obtain the relevant visa for your trip.
As entry and visa requirements for the Philippines may change over time, it is your responsibility to verify entry and visa requirements with official government sources such as the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Philippine Embassy or the Consulate General.
