Does travel insurance cover quad biking?

With Fast Cover Travel Insurance, cover for quad biking and riding recreational all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) is available for travellers aged 74 and under who take out the Adventure Pack on an eligible policy and pay the additional premium. Cover is only available if you also:*

• Ride the quad bike or ATV under the direct supervision of a properly licensed recreational organisation,

• Obey all relevant safety codes,

• Wear protective gloves and a crash helmet suitable for the activity,

• Ride as a single rider with a maximum of one passenger, and

• Do not engage in jumping, racing or competition while riding the quad bike or ATV. 

Note the Adventure Pack is not available with the Basics policy.* 

As each individual’s circumstances are different, we will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with your specific circumstances, relevant policy terms and conditions, and Certificate of Insurance.
