Does travel insurance cover the cost of vaccinations required for travel?
Travel insurance does not cover the cost of vaccinations, even if they are required for entry into a particular country. This means you will need to pay for any recommended or mandatory vaccines yourself before you travel.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
