I'm just walking in the snow, and not doing any snow sports. Do I need a Snow Sports policy?
If you will not be participating in any snow sports, for example, not participating in snowshoeing or any other snow sports activity, you do not need to purchase a Snow Sports Plus policy.
Under our PDS snowshoeing is listed as a snow sport. While snowshoeing is not specifically defined in our PDS, it generally describes an activity where people walk on snow using snowshoes to prevent sinking into the snow. You may wish to consider if you will be participating in snowshoeing as it is listed as a snow sport under our PDS. To have cover for snowshoeing you would require the Snow Sports Plus policy.
