Fast Cover named in the top 3 for Value for money at the 2024 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards

The burden of planning can overshadow the excitement of heading overseas, and sometimes finding travel insurance that matches your needs and budget can be half the battle.  
 
Thankfully Fast Cover understands the value of value. That’s why we’re pleased to have taken home a Value award in the 2024 Finder’s Travel Insurance Customer Satisfaction Awards. 

The annual awards celebrates some of  Australia’s best brands in the market across insurance, banking, and financial services as voted by customers. Finder worked with research partner Dynata to poll over 10,000 Australians for the Customer Satisfaction Awards program this year and over 700 Australians rated travel insurers.

What makes Fast Cover a winner in the 2024 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards? 

Finder’s Insurance specialist Cameron Thach said Fast Cover had strong scores across the board. 

“Fast Cover was rated an impressive 4.4/5 by customers for value for money. It also rated 4.4 for its ease of application, 4.2 for customer service and 4.1 for features and benefits. 

“In total 20 brands qualified to be in the running for the travel insurance customer satisfaction awards and with only three brands placing for each award, it’s a true testament to Fast Cover’s strong customer experience. 

“Fast Cover was also found to be a highly trusted brand in this year's research, with 94% of customers who were polled viewing the insurer as trustworthy and reliable.”

How Finder picks its winners 

The Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards is an independent awards program and commercial partnerships do not influence the results in any way. 

Customers were asked to score brands on scale between 1 to 5 based on the following criteria:  

  • Customer service
  • Features and benefits
  • Ease of application  
  • Value for money
  • Covid coverage

For the Value award specifically, the final score was based on an 80% weighting for the ‘value for money’ metric and a 20% weighting for the rest of the metrics.
