"We spent a whole day at the Marina Bay Garden which is fantastic." 

 Jessica was a 75 year old traveller on a cruise to Singapore when the whole ship came down with a virus!

"We flew to Singapore for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. We spent a whole day at the Marina Bay Garden which is fantastic. Joined the Sea Princess cruise through Asia and unfortunately we did not realise it was school holidays. Some of the brats on board caused havoc by doing things in the pool, causing it to be drained 3 times during the cruise. 3 families were put off the ship, but the damage was already done. A virus spread through the ship causing a lot of people including myself to have to visit the Doctor. We had some great entertainment and food was delicious."

 "On board the cruise ship people were coming down with a cold like virus and lots including myself had to visit the Doctor on board ship. It was very expensive and consequently I claimed the difference between our excess and the bill amount. On arriving home I had to see my Doctor and be checked out and get him to authorise my claim."

Jessica's cruise ship calamity

Jessica and her husband took a Sea Princess cruise around Asia and were enjoying the great entertainment and delicious food when disaster struck. Three families were put off the ship but the damage was already done. A nasty virus spread through the passengers, forcing many to visit the expensive on-board doctor. Hilary was charged almost $300 for an appointment but fortunately she had purchased a cruise travel insurance policy and was able to claim for reimbursement when they got home.

  2. Keep yourself away from other sick people if you can! This will drastically decrease your chances of also getting sick.
