We note flights have resumed in and out of Denpasar airport however the Bali Ash Cloud is still an active event at this stage therefore the travel advisory issued on the 3rd of November 2015 still stands.

If you entered into a policy after 5pm (AEDT) Tuesday 3 November 2015 you do not have provision to claim for anything related to the Bali Ash Cloud. This means that any policies issued on or after 3rd November 2015 are not eligible for coverage for any costs relating to this event as it is not unforeseen after this date.

In regards to when the Ash cloud will be deemed over, Allianz Global Assistance are reviewing the situation daily and are awaiting further information from the relevant authorities. We will continue to monitor this event and will release a statement once the event is deemed over.
